LEAD PASTORS
Joshua and Renae Bradford
Joshua and Renae Bradford have been the lead pastors of Anthem Church since its inception in 2017. With over 21 years of marriage, they are proud parents to three wonderful teenagers: Annabelle, Laura, and Joel. Their commitment to ministry spans more than 18 years, fueled by a deep love for the local church and its transformative power.
Together, Joshua and Renae are dedicated to cultivating a healthy, Jesus-centered community right in the heart of the Sunshine Coast. Joshua also holds the role of regional leader for the Sunshine Coast within Australian Christian Churches, furthering their mission to uplift Jesus throughout the region.
They are blessed to work alongside an incredible team of dedicated individuals who share their vision and passion.
Anthem Church has three areas of LEADERSHIP oversight that serve with OUR Lead Pastors to steward the vision God has given us.
BOARD OF GOVERNANCE
Anthem is governed by a dedicated Board, who provide essential legal governance oversight in all matters pertaining to the Church's various business functions, including but not limited to employment practices, occupational health and safety standards, compliance with relevant regulations, contract management, insurance policies, financial oversight, and budgetary planning. Their role is vital in ensuring that Anthem operates smoothly and adheres to the highest standards of integrity and responsibility.
BOARD OF OVERSIGHT
Anthem is strengthened by the invaluable presence of Overseers, a small and dedicated group of seasoned pastors who, while not directly affiliated with Anthem Church, possess a deep understanding of Anthem’s unique context and its leadership dynamics. This knowledgeable group plays a crucial role, providing essential spiritual protection and fostering accountability in important matters that directly relate to the Lead Pastor's responsibilities and decision-making processes.
PASTORAL LEADERS
In addition to these various levels of governance that we have established, Anthem Church proudly stands as a member of the Australian Christian Churches (ACC), which is a dynamic movement consisting of over 1,000 vibrant Pentecostal churches spread across Australia. We have several pastors who hold ministerial credential with this movement who serve as pastoral overseers in our community.
